Welcome to "Who the hell is this Sky person", otherwise known as "girlgeek101"

I'm located in Albany, NY where I am currently a senior at UAlbany in the B.S. Biology program. You can click here to see my coursework (nothing too fancy). As for grad school, I hope to go for my master's in Biology something. I'm leaning towards environmental engineering, even though I really don't know what degree I need for what I want to do, which is to find out the effect of transgenic plants on soil and soil micro/macrobiota diversity. (/me puts on her geek cap) Soon I'll be starting a website dealing with major ecological impacts that humans have on their environment (directly and indirectly), and it will also shed some light on why this place we call the little blue dot in the milky way is so friggin' important.

So this site is entirely in .asp. I've begun working on writing my own scripts (dig the request form.......oh yeah) and it doesn't seem to be too bad. My next task (and it's a huge jump, but who cares!) is to get a database running so you kids and search my shows without me having to update my static html pages. :) Speaking of those, they haven't been updated since summer and I have about 500 shows to add to what is up there already. Maybe some weekend I'll get around to updating it.

My other site that I have was called crazy.hippy.com, and many have said that it was appropriately named. However, I've moved it onto a folder within this site (the link is here). I'm a bit of a seamstress (patchw00k to some of you #etree kids) and have enjoyed creating various things for people. Take a look. It isn't much, but it's fun. :) Also check out the SB Family Crafters, and the sites of many of the ladies who are a aprt of this creative family. Support independent artists!!

I'm also a member of the Phunky Bitches, a kick-ass group of girls (and some guys too!) who are looking to make the scene better in general. Some of these kids are my closest friends and they are the greatest people so take a look at what we stand for. :)
