For those of you who are unfamiliar with the etree community, we participate in the trading of lossless live legal audio. If you are still confused about the legal part, please read the taping policies of Phish and the Grateful Dead.


Please obey my rules. They are very simple. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me before logging in to the server.

1. For a login, either refer to the announce mailing list off etree, or contact me. If you contact me asking for a personal login, you're outta luck, sorry.

2. Please, NO NOOPING or KEEP ALIVE. I now have limited bandwidth and many people who want shows, so only be on the server if you are downloading. Violation of this rule will get you instabanned[tm]. Also, having more than one connection to the server (unless allowed by me.....which never happens) will also get you instabanned[tm].

3. Remeber to start your download. :)

4. Disable passive (PASV), use PORT. Only use PASV if you have severe problems transferring....and remember.........NO NOOPING!

5. Don't you etree kids know what rule #5 is yet? (In other words, chill :))

6. Only one show at a time. Since there are a limited number of slots on the server, I'd like to give everyone a chance to get some tunes. So please, do NOT set up queues of any kind. I catch you doing it and you are banned.

7. Don't forget to spread the tunes.

Bans will last about 2 weeks unless you really piss me off. You will not be unfairly banned because this is your warning. Again, if you have any questions on how to set up your software like this, please do not hesistate to contact me, as I will be more than happy to answer your questions.
